The curriculum is extensive, offering training in jazz, commercial jazz, contemporary, Broadway and musical theatre, hip hop, lyrical, classical ballet, heels, fitness, tap, and cultural dance. This rigorous practical training is complemented by an exhaustive theoretical component, covering essential aspects such as hair and makeup, audition techniques, professional presentation skills, and real performance opportunities throughout the course. Recognizing that practical experience is crucial for readiness, our students participate in full theatre productions at some of Melbourne’s premier venues. Throughout the two-year duration of the course, Diploma students are guaranteed a minimum of eight performance opportunities across various prestigious venues, providing invaluable real-world experience. Upon completion, graduates will hold a Nationally Recognised CUA51520 Diploma in Dance (Elite Performance), having been equipped with the necessary skills, strength, and confidence to carve out a successful career in the dance industry.
